Cafe in France

I always enjoy paintings from the cafes I visit during my travels.  This large canvas hangs in my Cocoa Beach condo.

Butterfly 3 and 4

I completed two more butterfly paintings.  One my sister won in a contest and the other I gave to my niece Staci.  There will probably be more in the future.

Butterfly 2017

This is the second in my butterfly series.  The last one was in 2011.

Lone Taxi at Night

A photo of this rainy night in the city was my inspiration.  I had fun working with the reflection lights and capturing the movement of the taxi through the rain drenched street.

Taxis in NYC

I've always wanted to paint a picture with Yellow Cabs.  I was puzzled as to what to put in the foreground, so I chose my taxi from Toys-R-Us.  Who knows, maybe I'll start a series of stuffed toy paintings.

Fire Escape

This painting was inspired from a photo I took of an apartment building.  I enjoyed working with the limited palette.

Paris in the Rain

It has been years since I've painted and I finally got the itch.  You can tell this is the Eiffel Tower, but the rained on people are from a picture I took in Venice.

Balcony 2014

Well after 2 1/2 years I finally picked up a paint brush and finished this balcony, which I started in 2011.  I also started on a few new paintings, so hopefully I'll get back in the groove.  This painting is 22" x 28".

Resting Bike

Here's another painting inspired from my European travels.  I loved the color of the building and the mysterious windows.  After I finished it, I knew it needed something more, so I added the bicycle from another photo I had taken.  The canvas is 22x28.  This painting now resides in Cairns, Australia at my friend's Louise and Skip's rain forest house.

Blue Butterfly

It has been almost two and a half years since I lifted a paintbrush to canvas.  Well the dry spell is over and I hope to post many new creations over the next few months.  This one may be the start of a butterfly series.  I used my palette knifes exclusively.  The canvas is 16x20.  I've decided not to include prices since I'm not actively selling.  But if you want it, let me know and we can work something out.
